Specialised Care Services

Heathvale House is a CQC-regulated residential care home, providing accommodation for people requiring personal care for males aged 18 and above with complex needs, including: Mental Health challenges, Mild Learning Disabilities, a history of Substance & Alcohol Misuse Dual Diagnosis Early Onset Dementia and Challenging Behaviours

The home specialises in supporting individuals with neurocognitive or acquired brain injury conditions that affect behaviours. Staff are highly trained to manage aggression, agitation, sexual disinhibition, vocalisations, and other behaviours that may pose risks to the individual or others. The team focuses on helping service users maintain as much independence as possible while providing tailored assistance where needed.

Facilities and Amenities

The home comprises of nine bedrooms, thoughtfully designed to cater to residents’ needs: Ground Floor: 4 bedrooms, First Floor: 5 bedrooms, En-Suite Rooms: 5 bedrooms with private showers Walk-In Wet Rooms: 2 bedrooms, Private Bathrooms: 1 bedroom with dedicated toilet and shower.

Communal spaces include a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, a comfortable lounge, and a large garden.

Resident Support

Heathvale House accommodates both informal service users and those under Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). The care team supports residents in accessing community and activities, promoting integration and engagement.

Referral and Inclusion

Referrals are typically received from general hospitals and mental health facilities.
