Our beautifully refurbished 24 bedded care home with 24 hour nursing for adult males offers a welcoming and homely environment. Located in close proximity to J2 of the M25 and just a mile away from Dartford train station making it easily accessible for family and friends to visit. The Willows caters for individuals with physical health needs, mental health, neurological conditions and other complex needs or challenging behaviours.


Our care is rooted in a person-centred approach offering tailored support for those who may struggle with information processing, daily living tasks or independent community living always in the least restrictive environment possible. Service users will have a range of needs, from support with management of PEG care; catheter care; urostomy and colostomy management; pain management linked to palliative care; or tissue viability care, which our highly qualified staff are dedicated to support.
The Willows can cater for the needs of adult males subject to Ministry of Justice (MoJ) restrictions, Conditional Discharge, Community Treatment Orders (CTOs) – including individuals applicable to Deprivation of Liberties Safeguards (DoLS) and on Licence as directed by the Parole Board within a bright, spacious environment with its own garden space.
Activities include:
- Community based dementia activities
- Arts and crafts groups
- External facilitators for music and pet therapy, sight seeing
- Tours and trips
- Individual groups for personal shopping
- Individual activity sessions
Foxglove – Ground Floor
7 beds for working age gentlemen with a neurological condition and/or mental health needs, and/or brain injuries, who will typically be stepping down from a psychiatric hospital placement. Foxglove provides a welcoming and structured environment with every day focusing on encouragement, meaningful activities and a sense of community allowing service users to maintain their independence and enjoy life with dignity.
Lavender – First Floor
9 beds for our older gentlemen with a neurological condition and/or mental health need who will typically be transferring from a community placement or their home which is no longer suitable due to their levels of challenging and/or inappropriate behaviour. Our service users may be living with conditions including dementia, Huntington’s disease, Korsakoffs syndrome, Alzheimer’s, Schizophrenia.
Lilac – Second Floor
8 beds for our older gentlemen who have a metal health presentation, neurological/neurodegenerative condition who may require support with physical disabilities. We offer additional nursing support due to a deterioration in health and mobility.


Referrals may typically be from Psychiatric Hospitals, Neuro Rehabilitation Hospitals, General Hospitals, dedicated older persons mental health services and community services where placements have broken down due to challenging behaviours. Each floor includes a communal kitchenette, bright, comfortable lounge and dining area with state of the art fish tanks. Individual bedrooms offer a calm relaxing space which we strongly encourage our service users to personalise to ensure they feel at home. We offer en-suite facilities as well as a communal wet room with disabled access and our onsite lift ensures all of our gentlemen can access their garden area to enjoy fresh air outdoor activities.

- Males over 18
- Complex needs
- Challenging behaviours
- Diagnosis of ABI /Neurocognitive disorders
- Mental health dual diagnosis
- Physical disabilities and/or complex needs.
- Risk requiring a more robust community placement.
- A forensic or significant risk history.
- Informal, subject to DOLs, conditional discharges, on a CTO or on licence as directed by the parole board.
- Physical and or neurological disorders such as any type of Dementia, Huntington’s, Korsakoff’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
