We are delighted to share a series of recent improvements at Heathvale House, enhancing both the living environment and overall experience for those who call the service home.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing safe, comfortable, and welcoming spaces, a number of upgrades have been completed across the service, both internally and externally.

The outdoor areas have been significantly improved, with the installation of new fencing and a raised patio area, creating a dedicated and inviting space for residents to relax, socialise, and enjoy time outdoors. These enhancements support wellbeing by encouraging access to fresh air and meaningful activity in a safe and pleasant setting.

At the front of the service, the entrance area has been refreshed, including a newly installed bin store and a fresh coat of exterior paint, improving both presentation and functionality. These changes help create a more positive first impression for visitors, staff, and residents alike.

Inside the service, a previously vacant room has been fully refurbished and now includes a private ensuite bathroom, increasing the comfort and privacy available within the home.

Our communal areas have also been transformed. The lounge and dining spaces have been redecorated, complemented by new curtains and furniture to create a brighter, more homely environment. In addition, a new glass partition between the dining room and lounge allows natural light to flow between the spaces, enhancing the overall atmosphere and sense of openness.

A standout feature of the refurbishment is the installation of a bespoke wall mural in the dining room. This striking addition celebrates local landmarks as well as well-known figures from sport and popular culture, creating a vibrant focal point that sparks conversation and connection.

These improvements reflect our continued focus on creating environments that are not only safe and well-maintained, but also engaging, person-centred, and supportive of positive outcomes.
